A safe home is more than just a shelter — it’s the foundation for health, dignity, and a hopeful future. Unfortunately, many of the families we support live in conditions that are far from safe: collapsing roofs, broken windows, lack of heating, or overcrowded spaces where several children and parents share a single room. These environments put children’s physical and emotional well-being at serious risk.
Through our Building Project, we step in to restore not only walls and floors, but also the families’ sense of stability and security. We renovate and repair homes by replacing roofs, installing doors and windows, rebuilding fireplaces, insulating walls, and creating separate spaces so children can live and grow in dignity.
This work is carried out by a combination of local professionals, skilled workers, and national and international volunteers — a community effort that shows families they are not alone. Each renovation is tailored to the family’s needs, and our goal is always the same: to transform unsafe structures into safe, warm homes where children can thrive.
Beyond bricks and mortar, the Building Project restores hope, strengthens family bonds, and gives vulnerable parents the chance to raise their children in an environment they’re proud to call home.
