Spring Project

For vulnerable families in rural Moldova, poverty is often rooted in a lack of opportunities — not a lack of willingness to work. Our Spring Project was created to respond to this need by offering practical tools that help families take control of their futures and move toward self-sufficiency.

Through this program, we provide families with essential agricultural resources: livestock, poultry, seeds, fruit trees, gardening tools, and, where possible, access to land or greenhouses. These are not just donations — they are investments in the long-term resilience of each household. Families learn how to grow their own food, improve their nutrition, and reduce dependence on external aid.

Beyond agriculture, the Spring Project includes access to vocational training and personalized guidance for adults who want to re-enter the workforce or start small businesses. With support and mentoring, participants begin to see real possibilities for income generation and greater financial stability.

The impact goes beyond economics. Families regain confidence in their abilities, children see their parents become role models, and entire households start building a future based on work, dignity, and hope.
